I've just realised recently how Italian football has gotten away from me and i have no idea whats going on really. Does this show still air??If so why did they take it from Channel 4??Does James Richarardson still present it?

Italian football is the most boring league in Europe. It's like watching a chess game. It's too slow, too cagey & defensive.

Italian clubs paid the highest wages for years and could therefore attract the best players, but the TV money has gone, and now attendances at games are dwindling. - stadiums are empty! The Italian league is'nt generating enough money to sustain the standards of the '80s & '90s.

They're heading for a major slump if they don't cop on.

S4C only take some programmes from Channel 4. italian football is only on S4C, not Channel 4

S4C is a Welsh language channel produced as a joint BBC/Channel 4 venture.

Eurosport showed games every saturday and sunday last season. They'll be doing it next season too as far as i know.

Yeah British Eurosport showed live games all last season. Unfortunately I only have stinkin normal Eurosport so didn't get to see any of it. I watched Italian football for many years on C4 and N2, now I don't know what's going on in Serie A. I don't think the Italian football federation do either though, so many clubs in serious debt it's untrue.

its very annoying to be a football fan and not have satelilite/cable

some brazilian football on C4 and dutch/argentinian on C5, none of which are particularly hallowed
though i do quite like the brazilians
