Just out of interest Jan, what digital camera did you buy? I'll be duty freeing tomorrow and if I'm getting a digital camera I'll want one I can buy an underwater housing for.

I got the new Nikon D70. If that one is to pricy try the olympus 5050 or 5060, the housings for these cameras are a lot cheeper than the one for the Nikon D70. Check out www.wetpixel.com and www.digitaldiver.net www.dpreview.com and www.uwpmag.com are a free web uw-photo magazine. www.digideep.com do have the list of all cameraes that have uw-housing.

I would go for the Olympus 5050/5060 if i had gone for a none DSLR camera

The 5050 is better for underwater use, but I think the 5060 is a better all around camera.

Its a jungle out there...but it seems to be that the olympus cameraes are very popular for uw-use and some of the images they produce are amazing.

    Best of luck

    Jan-E.
