dunno if ne1 has come across this prob before but just after installing a win2k3 server with dns with 10 workstations (xp pro). The client has a domain (.ie) and their is pop mail accounts setup on all workstations. The prob is that when they send mail to external mail sources it sents straight away but to send a mail to an account on the same domain its not recieved by the recipient.

There is no mail server involved (minus the host). I am banging my head off a wall trying to figure it out. No Firewall. No Antivirus Program (YET...........!!!) the sockets are default. Its a BB connection using pop.mydomain.ie and mail2.eircom.net or mail1.eircom.net.....

Thought it could be the router but if it is sending and recieving external mail that cant be...

BTW the mail prog is Outlook 2003 XP

said the tree to the lumberjack...i'm stumped!
