Does anyone know if there is some kind of wireless device that I can use to hook up my cable tv outlet and my telly?

It'd be nice to be able to move my tv over the other side of the room without stringing a cable over there.

    Cheers.

Yes - they're generally known as wireless senders. They usually work on 2.4GHz, so watch out for interference with WiFi networks (yours or your neighbour's).

You should be able to get them in a decent hifi shop; failing that try somewhere like Peats or Maplin.

And they'll work from an NTL cable outlet? Rather than sending from a digital box?

Hm. Now that you say it, any I've seen use a CVBS input/output rather than an RF tuner, so nope - you probably won't be able to hang it straight off a cable socket, sorry.

well, if you ask ntl to install another socket it only costs you about 20c extra a month .
so it won't break the bank!
