    so i got a hauppages wintv card today and was wondering what's the best software to use to watch with?

    what do you use?

    I downloaded ChrisTV for a start.
    nice but looking for others

    PowerVCR seems nice aswell. Only got it recently so I still havent got around to playing with it much.

    jabber are you using coax cable with the tv card? Do you get interferance with Utv?
    I'm using the software that came with the card, I've tried beyond TV but its very slow changing channels, although I was mainly looking for an app that would share the tv over a network

    ja just trying it with a powered tv top arieal. not too bad of reception.
    but lways the same can get 3 channels great and 1 is always left sh!t!!!

    I use http://www.dscaler.org/ for my TV card...it's got the most configurable app that I've seen for watching TV.

    picture quality is great too...
