    Hello,

Does anyone have contacts for a music teacher in Dublin (preferably the northside) that teaches saxophone/woodwinds? Alas google wasn't much help when trying to search for a list of irish music teachers, so I'm trying here instead.

If you know of such a teacher, then I'd appreciate the contact email/URL/whatever.

    Thanks in advance!

Contact the Royal Irish Academy of Music on Westland row (www.riam.ie). A mate of mine is doing a music performance degree there and afaik they have to teach as part of their degree.

I think they also do extra mural music courses too, although probably not for beginners.

Thanks for the information. Do you know, perchance, if they might have *night* classes for beginners? That's really what I'm after. Cheers.

Weekends and evenings afaik but apparently you have to audition in May/June to get a place : http://www.riam.ie/courses/individual.htm

But i'm sure they'd be able to recommend one of their graduates to you!
