I know this has been flogged to death and I apologise for bringing it up again . But I tuned one of my neighbours TV's in and now the rest of them want it done .

Can someone direct me to the correct post as the search engine rejects the search as 4 is not a valid term .

    Thanks !

You need to explain what you want to do more clearly?

What do you mean when you say you tuned in your neighbours TV? Are you talking about terrestrial signal?

Channel 4 is not available on a Sky subscription in Ireland unless you have a FTV (free to view card) or a confused card. For both these cases see the sticky threads at the top of the page.

This channel (showing the BB5 stream) is now hidden and unless you tuned it in on the first week it was available, you cannot add it.

How can sky "hide" it so that it does not appear on the Add Channels search results?

I think they just remove the Channel ID. THey did this when ITV2 was FTA for a while. It was possible to tune it in on a proper digital receiver but not with Sky digibox. Maybe watty or someone can elaborate

Ah It's probably some handy "feature" sky write into their software to keep their powermad monopoly rampage running as smoothly as possible - you only get what you pay for.

Or maybee they put the channel number in blue so you can't tell its there.

Mmm... you know, I must try and see can you highlight an "invisible" channel Tipptop. Might work :D:D:D
