    It's not Father's Day, it's Hallmark Day.

Personally, I'd pay a quick visit to the grave, bring some flowers and just make sure the grave was neat and tidy in general...

"Something like Love Day but not so lame"

I'm convinced Father's Day is twice or three times a year. I think Hallmark or whoever do a 1984 job on us and essentially erase any proof that we shilled out like seals 5 months ago.
What's next? Annual Gift Day? Spendover; Like Passover. Christmass 2. Christmass. Simpsons Day.

Well the yanks have "Secretary's day" upon which you buy a card, flowers etc.
Won't be long before we have it here!

I know Mothers Day is a leftover from times past.

Serving staff who lived with their employers were given one sunday off to visit their mother, and hence Mothers Day...

Is it the same with Fathers Day?

I just really hate the idea of hot shot guys driving cars(i should say big flashy cars but i don't even have one) over the head of us sub-meguloids buying their stupid crap about jerks. not a freudian reference to my papa... or is it?
