    Hey guys,

once again a hard-drive is going screwy on me *sigh*, so I'm looking at replacing some kit (whilst waiting for the AMD 939 stuff +PCIX).

Has anyone any experience with getting a seagate barracuda S-ATA drive working with win2k on an Abit NF7-S v2.0 mobo? (or in general)

And if so, how much hassle was it?

I've got the hd you mentioned but thats it.

Works fine, as a hd should and it's less noisey than my maxtor.

The only hasle is when you have to reinstall windows to make sure you have drivers on a disk and press F6 when setup props you at the start.
If you not installing windows then all you do is plug it in etc and install sata drivers.
