Cant hear sound on Xvid file (WMP)

Have a movie i can see perfectly but no sound ,WMP gives a codec error. But doesnt name the coded so cant google it, on xvid website their answer is "not our problem we only do video". Anyone know what this is before i google the day away. kdjac

XviD is a video codec, it has absolutely nothing to do with sound. So if you see a video then XviD works just fine and we can't help you here.

Found it ,i was missing AC3 codec.
