AFAIK they are an 11 month contract. 40 hrs a week. But check with Liam for details.....

You need to be able to start pretty much straight away, probably within the next week...

Heh. Eircom are going to have to seriously start re-organising their hiring policy. The IT jobs market is picking up, slowly but surely. Soon enough, IT grads won't accept minimum notice starts and < €10ph, and eircom will either have to get serious about it or hire less experenced/qualified techs. I wonder which they'd go for? :p

(This not a jab at James or his colleagues :))

Why don't you change jobs to eircom then? I don't know how you can work in client logic, it's in the middle of nowhere and working til 11pm, I don't think so! A mate of mine worked there for a while last year and he was promised he wouldn't have to work til 11 because he would miss his last bus home, and they still put him on that shift.

Plus you at least have some hope of promotion in eircom!

If someone offered me €10.00 an hour after graduating with a degree I would tell them to jump. It had to be Eircom too!!

12/18 months ago, you'd have jumped at €10/hour. It's about normal wage now....

€10 p/hour is €20,000 per year. Nothing wrong with that for someone with no experience at all...
