Is there a emergency number to call if there's a burglar or a fire in my house?
    Like 911 or something?

    Just arrived in Ireland.....

If it's not too serious though, just call the local fire/garda station. 999/112 is generally just for emergencies.

Belive it or not 911 will also get you the emergency services here, too many people were dialing it by mistake so it was set up as an emergency number
