i love the track featured on the new ipod ad. does anybody know what song it is? its the ad where the guy is walking around and there are multicoloured posters of the ipod on the wall.

still no reply on this thread. I want to know the name of that song too. If it helps i think the lyric is "rock with me, rock with me, rock with me" its a nice song, i suppose its similar to the killers or jet

ipod...i would never buy one! i have my zen also. i just like the music on their ads, not the product itself!

Had a creative zen and gave it to my son ( fell for the sexy lookin' ipod) got the ipod and hated it 4 the reasons below returned it to dixons swapped it for creative zen 40g and got 100 euro back to boot.

I run alot and the ipod kept stopping after 10 mins and needed to be reset the creative doesn't. With the creative I can run 4 2 hrs and have no probs.

The volume level is set to new eoropean standards and cannot be changed on the newer 3G models only on slightly older 2nd gen models. The creative is also restricted but you can flash the firmware with the US version ( non volume limited) On the apple you can hardly hear it if you are running / walking by busy roadside.

Aslo you cannot retrieve music from the ipod to your computer ... unless it is stored in HD mode ( in which case you can't play it on the ipod only store it !! )

Finally can't play wma's ( a minor point i'll grant but nonetheless ... )

i repeat DO NOT BUY AN IPOD !!!!!!

You'll thank me in the long run ( and the short run !!)

Run with any hard drive based player and it wont last long (in the long term)

Not true. You can get rid of it if you dont update the firmware from 2.1

Eh yes you can. Its stored in a hidden folder and disc use doesn't need to be enabled. Also you dont need drivers to use the iPod as an external Hard drive. Its fully plug and play.

yes a very minor point. Not a great format imo.

Its abvious what the ipod is from the way they market it, does it show any specs or what it does in anyway? No. Ipod is a fashion accessory. Anyway sorry for the OT.

ehh tbh this thread has gone from a simple question

to my mp3 player is the best and nothing else can better it.

both the zen and pod have good and bad points, let's leave it at that and get back to helping the orignal poster find the name of the song if it hasn't been found already
