usually looking at 2 to 3 years for a preliminary report and somewhere after 5 years for a full one. the archaeology industry is mad at the moment with experienced site directors moving onto new sites immediatly after they've finished excavations. there's no incentive to publish quickly so they don't. many sites never got published at all. if you know the name of the company try looking at their website and they might have some info for you

I also heard a rumour that some companies are trying to make them selves known as the types that don't publish too quickly (unless something really special is found), to make it easier for construction companies to move in after an EIS is done.
