Network Trouble

    Hey guys,

    I have a PC running XP, just installed it. Its connected to the office network. I can go on the internet with it. I just have two problems:

    1. When it loads up it doesn't have a log in screen just a button with my name on it to click. I want it so that it askes people for their name and password which will then be varified by our domain server running windows server 2003. Any suggestions?

    2. I can view other machines on the network but they can't view me??? Can't see why and I want to run a printer on the new machine so its important.


    Any help will be gratefully appreciated!!

    For Num 1: Go to Control panel --> User Accounts --> Change the way Login & logout,

    You can change it here back to the Login screen.

    As for number 2: You need to make sure you have it setup so that computers can connect to yours. You can do this through Network settings.
