Anyone got these printed up before?

Could you recommend a print shop?

    Hi Balooba (yes I know I know....been a bit busy...see PM)

Not many places doing this stuff now, they'd rather sell you a printer and let you do it yourself. We get ours done in the UK by a company called Identilam http://www.identilam.co.uk

Pain in the bum having to send them over there I know. You need to be printing a few thousand for it to be worth buying a printer. The printers don't cost all that much but the ribbons (as usual) are very expensive.

You also really need to shop around otherwise you'll pay through the nose for blank cards. If you're looking for magnetic strip cards you can get them as cheap as $0.08 each in 1000 quantities in the US but obviously you pay a bit extra for shipping. There are a few Irish card suppliers mostly catering to the hotel access control market.
