They're out, and they fix the shadows in TOCA RD2 and Splinter Cell + there's a performance boost in D3D and OpenGL (for pre-X800 cards) :)

are these worth installing? What kind of speed boost we looking at here? Or should i just wait for the officials?

If you're not playing TOCA RD2 or Splinter Cell, I'd wait for the officials.

btw, the CP now includes an option to enable Temporal AA for D3D and OpenGl. Afaik, Temp AA is supported by all 9*** cards, maybe even 8***

When installing the new drivers, how should i go about uninstalling the old drivers ??

What i is just uninstall in control panel. And then right mouse click on desktop and go into advanced options and uninstall the drivers there also. Is what im doing correct ??

Should an ATI uninstall utility in Add/remove just remove that and it will take care of the drivers and control panel.

Then reboot and install new ones.

I don't think that uninstalling the uninstall utility will have any effect on the drivers/CP. I've never used the ATi uninstall utility, but I'd imagine you run it, rather than removing it?

I've found that uninstalling the CP is all that's really needed for updating from one set of Cats to another. Then just install the new drivers & CP on top of the old drivers. This method works fine for me, but if it does cause conflicts, you can always just do the full uninstall/install. If you're currently using Omegas, use the Omega driver cleaner.

I think that is more than enough reason to install these drivers. Temp AA is supposedly equal quality at half the performance hit... i like those odds.

You could have enabled tempoal AA months ago. You just need to add it to the registry. Still it's nice to have the option in your ati control panel.
