Hi.My dad was cleaning out the attic recently, and found his old electric guitar.i tried to google it, but nothing came up.i was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about it, as i know absolutely nothing about guitars:

its a Vox White Shadow, blue in colour, with a white plec-guard thingy.6 strings, 3 pickups, and chrome hardware.

if anyone knows ANYTHING about it, please post it!!!:)

Vox are most famous for their two world renowned electric guitar amps, the AC15 and AC30, as used by everyone from The Beatles, to Queen, to Radiohead.

They made guitars too at one stage, but that was back in the 60s.
I've seen the singer in Calexico play one, and it sounded great.

That model name wasn't part of the catalog, but have a look here:

    http://www.voxamps.co.uk/history/museum.htm

and see if you can find the guitar in the galleries...

Let us know, I'd be interested to find out which one it is...
