What benchmarks test are good for testing sytem performance. Im going to clean up a pc and i need to know if what im doing is actually improving the performance. I was thinking PCMark 20002 myself. Is there anything better?

On my LAN's we are using the following programs :

    3D Mark 2001 and 2003 ,
    PC Mark 2002 and 2004,
Aquamark 2003, <--- i think this is the best and most accurate one.
