I'm leaving this open out of curiosity!

In case no one's figured it out, the figure in the photo is Bridin (Gilroy), a big wig of some sort in the Post-Primary Languages Initiative.

Ursula is Ursula Zimmermann, a Japanese teacher and author of the Kantan trilogy of textbooks.

Midori is one of at least two other Japanese teachers, probably the one (M. Inagaki) based in and around Dublin (rather than Midori Hayes, who is based somewhere in Clare).

Una: I assumed her to be another Japanese teacher, but no "Una" appears on my (late 2005) list of "Teachers of Japanese". In short, I have no idea.

And please don't ask how I know all this, because if I start to answer you won't be able to make me stop.

...knowing the cast of characters doesn't make the plot of this disturbing play any clearer.

I was taught by Midori, Una and by Ursala in the 2003/2004 class.
I assume this guy was in my class at the time too. No Idea who it could be though.

Yep. I'm guessing that there's not many Unas teaching Japanese here...
