Did anyone else like me love the graphics for all the nominations with people gettin ripped to shreds and mauled by rats etc...?

Lyndsay Lohan(Shes in the Freaky Friday remake, and Mean Girls?) was hosting.
The didn't really parody anything but they had a funny thing with Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Peter Jackson. Stiller and Vaughn are movie execs trying to get Jackson to make a sequel to Lord of the Rings. They also had Will Ferrell interviewing people in the character from The Anchorman. They did a small Kill Bill parody at the end with Andy Dick and Lindsay Lohan. The actual awards were'nt really suprising, overall it was alright

Doesn't exactly sound like it's going to beat the excellent Matrix parody of last year. That was just fantastic!

Yeah, the parodies left a lot to be desired. The Matrix one was classic, as was the jack black as spider man and smg in LOTR in '02 and Sex and the Matrix in '00. That was good.

Lindsey Lohan was weird, she is not very attractive.

i thought the awards were pretty poor, although we only saw the edited ver so there might have been more stuff apart from eminims arse?


did anyone see when the rock was giving out the award for best battle scene or something they were just about to say ...and peter jackson can't be here tonight when eh dominic one of the scottish hobbits mistakenly rushed up to the podium to accept the award... he must have been so embarrassed....

he then came up at the end with sean astin which i guess made it better...


i thought judas should have got best kiss???

all the presenters jobs is to come out in different dresses

The graphics were a nice little touch- Real Resident evil feel to them

there was a Mission Impossible parody a few years ago that ended up being on the MI:2 dvd. was pretty funny. also the starwars one a few years back too. this years ones left alot to be desired tbh. awards were predictible too.

Yeh the M:I2 one with Ben Stiller as Tom Crooze was hilarious. Especially the bit where Tom Crooze goes "We even finish each others sentences" and Tom Cruise goes "well i dont think weve ever..." and ben interupts with "..finished each others sentences"...

Same old crap. the parodies were pretty poor compaired to the last few year.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the MTV awards, they're more fun than the Oscars but they still have the same scripted jokes and things. I found the psychiatric cartoons a little freaky, really good, but freaky. And I didn't like the opening, LL is a great dancer but the sketch with her "parents" was pathetic. Nothing can top Jimmy Fallon's music video impersonations at the VMAs, classic.
