What should the pressure be on 205/65/15 on a BMW 525i? Is there, like, a ready reckoner or something?

Anywhere between 28 and 32. Anyone who tells you that the difference in pressure is palpable, is talking crap, like those people who go on about noticing the difference between 112 and 128kbps mp3's.

Very good site about tyres in general. Explains them in laymans terms. There is an awful lot more to putting on a new set of tyres and rims than just picking the nice looking ones. Not really much about pressure though...

Personnaly I dont listen to that many MP3's so I can not comment on the different bit rates. But in terms of tyre pressures the difference is noticable and can have an effect on the handling of the car, traction etc

the answer should be on the driver side door pillar if they are standard tires.
