    There is not...

UGC for choice, IFI for food and limited release stuff, Screen for an old school Dublin cinema experience.

There's no Imax. Best cinema for choice and especially if you have the monthly subscription card is UGC. €16/€17 per month (I forget what I pay for it) and see as many movies as you want.

The Ster cinema out in Liffey Valley probably has the best screens.

Ster Century is the best for choice, sound quality and comfort. The seats in UGC Parnell St. are shit, they're too straight and angled forward.
    I'm a fussy bastard.

The Ster Century have the cup holders at your feet, that pisses me of constantly leaning forward to get your drink.

Ster Century is easily the best. Your right about the cup holders tho. I suppose it means more room in your seat, what ya want is a really long straw ;)

I probably would change my mind if the ster century released something similar to the UGC monthly pass, I haven't been to another cinema since I got this thing.

You'll have to go to belfast for an IMAX. It's on Queens Quay I think...

you must be joking. UCI in tallaght?! Its not brutal bad but its still bad. The seats are **** and are all nearly level which means a tall person in front of you and all you see is the back of their head. They also had most annoying habit of leaving on the lights on dim durning the film. They didn't always do that, but they started and never stopped. Also the managers in the place have a bad habit of coming in and walking around blocking the screen and catching your eye because of their strolling. Okay they can check to see if people are recording or whatever but they do it in such an intrusive way.

UGC ar the best by miles and the pass is very good.

UCI (both) has to be the worst, but I remember a time I think it was the early 90s when they were the best....how we have moved on Thank god.

    OMG! A tealeaf!!

what can u steal from a cinema anyway?

My fav is Ster Century. Comfy seats and no fear of getting a hooge person in front of you blocking the view which is a hazzard for teeny ppls like myself. My only prob with Ster is the free-for-all when you buy ur tickets from the ticket desk... it's a bit like organised chaos. I don't have a credit card so I have to purchase my tix in person

I'm partial to the Savoy (main screen) but aside from that, UGC.

sweeties from the pick'n'mix and/or going into a second show after the one you've paid for.

My €0.02 = Ster is the overall winner - comfort large screens etc. UGC is second.

oh ye, forgot about that. Ster's booking thing is actually pretty good. Get to pick your seats and all, need the old credit card tho.
