Zero Gravity Bailey's Ad Censorship???

As anyone noticed that the singing in the Bailey's ad where everyone's floating around in a zero gravity environment has now been reduced to "La-la" type mumbling.

When the ad was first shown there were two versions, one with drum heavy track & no singing, while the other was the same as it is now, except that the lyrics of the song ("Le Fleur") were clear and distinct.

Why were the lyrics made unintelligible?

I don't think it's actually censored at all is it? The la la la bit is from the end of the song. I don't remember them using a different version.

    This is incorrect.

not to do with the theme tune, but if it's really zero gravity, why does the guy at the end seem to be falling back down after getting the blob of baileys from between the two girls?

Some times they have shorter versions of ads. Maybe they edited some of the music to fit with the shorter ad.

EDIT: I wouldn't call it censorship.

Hey DMT, I noticed this too and it's also bothering me!! I can't fathom it. Maybe it's a copyright issue? Someone else said that the Baileys bubbles are different in the two versions of the ad - you noticed if this is true too?

I noticed nothing to do with bubbles. Maybe it's because he was banned.

The science of the whole add is just wrong. the bailey's wouldnt stick together in distinct bubbles, the freaky pervert at the end should just continue to go up, and unless the bar is in space, it is just totally impossible that anything like this could ever happen.

The theme tune is annoyingly catchy - especially since they changed it to la la la. Perhaps thats why they changed it - so people would be singing it all day and thinking of that rubbery wierd guy at the end. (oh - I mean thinking of baileys)

Maybe it's the same way that Aero used to use the original 'Let's Get it On' for their ad and then changed it to a different version. It's all to do with money.

They use the original for a while - get the song into everyone's head - and then they change to a less expensive cover version.

Yeah, that really annoys me. Can't they do a bit of research or do they take their audience for total morons?

It would also work if you threw the bar out of a plane. Until it reached terminal velocity.

    Physics Exam on monday.
