    ive started playing 1v1's online against whoever i can and my record aint great but it aint terrible either 13/13 no dis.

    just wondering about peoples anti rush tactics and rush tactics and general stratagems for different armies

    China inf - my normal tactics for these guys is to go straight to war factory and mass produce attack outposts, i tend not to build chaingun infantry at all, i take level 3 para drop, emp, carpet bomb, mines and level 1 frenzy. normally one of my AO's is full of super hackers, while my main attack is going on i try slip them in to mass capture buildings. these guys make a great counter for american air power, if you go pure chaingunners.


    china tank - Emperors is where its at, not much else of value with these guys, the autoloader does make a slight improvement to the BM's but not enough. level 3 repair, level 3 frenzy and carpet bomb.


    china nuke - migs grouped as 1,2,3,4 use singularly on groups for best effect :)
    normally mass BM's, dont make the mistake of not researching the nuke protection or 1 tank dieing can end an attack in seconds. carpet bomb, nuke cannon(neutron), level 3 frenzy and level 2 repair.


    usa laser - dont bother with turrets for air defense, have 1 turret and 2 fire bases for each choke and put 4 rockets in each firebase, infantry storms are easier with this general as the chinooks have point def lasers, the tanks are only good as part of a mixed force, normally my skirmish squads are 2 tomahawks, 2 hummers with 4 rockets and a sniper and 6 laser tanks. it takes a bit of micro management but its a good mix. level 3 para, sniper, FAB, leaflets, level 1 a10


    usa air - use the raptors in pairs or singularly, they can take down most light structures and most vehicles. my normal tactic is to use the raptors as hole punchers and send in a wing of commanches as a squad of aurora's take down power or internal defenses. level 3 a10 level 3 specter FAB. use hummers with rocketmen as mobile base defense mixed with a few turrets and a lot of firebases.


    usa sw - i never use this general but its self evident, aurora them into dust.....


    gla tox - mass tanks, use tunnels for most defense keep it full of rocketmen and pop em out when an attack comes in, scatter your side of the map with quads, have several squads of scorps with rockets near tunnels, as soon as you can sneak attack send em through and X X X, rocket troopers first and scatter, they will soak up the initial air attacks if he is useing air defense, a squad of quads is good backup too. level 3 cash, level 2 rebels(use these guys defensivly as gamma toxin rips tanks to shreds) anthrax and sneak attack.


    gla stealth - spread like a virus, for every tunnel/stinger site he sees you build build 3 more nearby, mass up quads and buggies, you literally need 4 dealers to keep up the neccessary production in a large money game. use yarman kell as a roadblock, snipe leading units in choke points to create a backlog of units, then snipe his inf as they come to reclaim tanks. level 3 rebels, level 2 cash, gps and sneak attack. (gps a squad of gats as first wave through sneak attack) use rebels where kell is backlogging vees and claim a bunch as harrassers. scatter guarding hijackers around your base and outside.


    gla demo - bikes bikes bikes, they can be defended against, but they are your most valuable unit. stick yarmen kell on a bike and you have a stealth sniper who cant be counter sniped by america, then sneak him in to enemy base over hills and eject, hes now a sniping col burton. mass of scorps and quads. level 3 rebels with demo, use them to take out SW, strat/prop centers and airstrips. 1 rebel at the edge of a runway, detonate him as the plane start to take off and he will kill the planes, always have them attack their surroundings, dont just blow em up as when they die they blow up anyway. level 2 cash, level 1 repair, sneak attack.


    the key to any win is always micro management or sheer weight of numbers.

    The Laser defences are savage when grouped at choke points. If you can get three grouped together in a choke point, no one groud rushing will get past it.. To defend against air rushes, just stick a laser turret beside ur command centre early on.

    The key to the Americans is the Aurora bombers. Devastating when used properly.

    China Tank - Battlemasters in HUGE amounts, I'm talking 20 or 30! Build 2 or 3 war factories, and build tons of them. If or when you have tons of money, you can't resist emporers, I took out an entire base with about 5 or 6 overlords, with a combo of different upgrades. Try it out.
