Do you mean which one is a better choice to write about or which one is more likely to come up?

If you have the option, don't do either!
You get better marks for doing average essays in obseque topics, rather than good essays in normal topics

looks to me like atype, but he probably meant not so run-of-the-mill-****-predicable essays like Bismark and cumann na ngeal. instead we shoudl do essays liek htta one on Railways throuhgout Europe that came up a few years ago... heh, bet that guy was fired...

No, im asking which do you think is more likely to come up.

they both came up in 2002 and 2001. so both could come up.

its risky only banking on one of them, but if your desperate i would say hitler

I'm banking on either Hitler and Mussolini (up to but not including WWII) coming up, think that's safe enough?

I reckon (but don't hold me to it!) that "Account for the initial success and final defeat of Germany in World War 2" will come up. It was up in 94 and 99. 5-year cycle maybe? Plus with all the D-Day stuff you never know.

I like Stalin as a topic but not as a question , i mean "how far did stalin succeed in his socialism in one country", to give a decent answer on that u wanna have ages, condensing it seems to ruin it, well it does for me anyway. Would love anything on stalin or mussolini, or that q on Russia after Stalin-ie Khrushchev, coz my god that man is beautiful!

Yeah but neither were asked last year and its one of those kinda "un-written" rule thingys that they put a dictator up every year.

And Mussolini came up last year so dont put your money on him.
