    I don't read it 'cos it is not any good, or at least it wasn't last time I checked. That's me though, I bet the 37 year olds in suits going to the buena vista social club at the weekend think it's great, if you get where i'm coming from.
    At any rate, I reckon it tends to be slightly patronising when it comes to music critique.

    Without a doubt the best listings mag, and magazine about music in Dublin is without a doubt the Event Guide.

    I used to work for 'em - did a page or two in each issue for ages. I've not read the mag in the past while, but when I was there I didn't really think that much of the copy. It's basically musical snobbery dressed up in "trendy student" type clothes. It can be funny sometimes but it's rarely informative or useful... the only thing worthwhile is the event guide.

    That said, I haven't read it in ages, it could be staffed by pulitzer prize winners now for all I know smile.gif

    i went to the gig and it was one of the best gigs ive been to lately.

    as for the In Dublin magazine, i wouldnt know crap about that. smile.gif

    Hey Adnan, I would have gone if i could have afforded it. But there were loads of 37 year olds there weren't there...At leat more than the average gig.
