Working from home

Can anybody suggest a job that somebody could work from home that pays reasonably? I'm on a year's leave of absence from work, and can't justify returning to work with the cost of childminding. I looked into Web Page Design, but I've gonme off the idea as It seems very difficult to get any freelance work. I like typing work (even though I'm a one-fingered typist), but I mighn't be as fast as a professional secretary. Is there anything that anybody can suggest that can be done from my computer?

Freelance journalism or reviewing if you're good at that sort of thing.

there a secratarial agency agency on parnell square where you can just get individual jobs done (dunno if ive explained that well?) they may let you work from home.

data mining work can be done pretty much anywhere so that might be an option.

a broadband connection might be useful for you, as its a good selling point to someone letting you work from home.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions! You are all so good. They've certainly given me food for thought. Although I think I'll give the "Viewcam" suggestion by Hal1 a miss - I don't want to give viewers a fright!
    Thank you all.
