And just to avoid future confusion: there are no banks that give you extra money because they're nice, holiday destinations with hot women builders or public transport that only pick you up and drop you directly to your office.

In fairness, The urban myth has been around a lot longer than the ad for Tennants. I know i thought the ratio was 2:1 well before seeing that ad. Im pretty sure the agency were banking on people knowing that 'fact' as it makes the ad more effective.

i much prefer central european/ dutch women to irish (appearance wise) but i know that irish women are generally more fun to be with than the dutch counter parts. (well in my limited experience )

A few years ago I was working in the US with a few other Irish people,one of whom was a not-too-pretty redser. However, nearly the American lads thought she was a ride. She looked different to the women they were used to and that was part of the attraction. I think the same principle applies to us when we go abroad - I was in Budapest this year and nearly got a crik in my neck FFS.
The REAL problem here is that women who like fat guys, football, heavy metal and PS2 are in short supply, and that has made us so, so very bitter

from an outsiders point of view, i totally agree with Zulu here.

i travelled for 5 - 6yrs, ( Eire for 3yrs) and backpacked / hitch hiked from top to bottom of Ireland. The women in Ireland are fantastic, and with a lot less of the "stuck up" attitude than other countries.

But back to the Quantity issue : you guys should try Bondi Beach (County Bondi) on Xmas day. the amount of Irish women lazing around in 2 piece bikinis (and looking great) would make you re-consider.

I had this conversation with a fella who lived in London for years and he was sayin that Irish women are way better than English girls. I brought the subject up sayinh how I though English girls were prettier than Irish cailins - but No, according to him he said we were way ahead. I also know Spanish guys who love Irish women.

This is one of those arguments thats going to continue forever, the ppl who like Irish girls are going to shout that we (lovers of foriegners) don't know what we're missing, that they hve travelled to X and Y and Z and they find the Irish women the best.
On the other side ppl who love foriegners are gonna shout how its obvious that Irish women aren't as gud because when they went to X and Y and Z the women were fantastic.

bottom line its a matter of taste (one mans meat so to speak), personally I prefer foriegners but hey thats me, some men like red heads others like curved women others like skinny etc. Its pointless arguing because non matter what you say your not going to change my preferences on women and nothing ill say can change yours.
