hi, posted about this over in the PDAs / Mobiles forum, think it might be helpful to mention it here too for anyone who's kids have a mobile phone...

A Parent's guide to mobile phones has been published by the Irish Cellular Industry Association (ICIA)...
mobile phones are often given to children for security purposes enabling parents to keep in touch and to make sure they are safe. To keep parents informed of the ever-changing services available on mobile phones, the three mobile operators Meteor, O2 and Vodafone, under the auspices of the ICIA have devised this easy reference guide
The Knowledge - A Parents Guide to Mobile Phones is available for download here [link] and according to the press release the guide will also be available free of charge in the operators retail outlets.
