Painting a mini dish

I was thinking of putting black spray paint on my mini dish as it's got some spots of rust on it. Would this affect reception or cause any drop in signal level ? Is there a special kind of paint required ?

    Thanks in Advance

No, most paint should be grand for a minidish. Although you are painting it black, just to advise any others NEVER to paint the dish bright colours such as yellow or white, as the dish will then focus the suns rays onto the LNB, completely melting it!!!

just dont use metallic paint and put on a smooth surface, take the lnb off before you spray

theres an apartment in ringsend across from shelbourne park just before you come to the bridge that has the dish painted the same as the brick wall looks pretty cool
