Just get the 7 as far as Killiney Shopping Centre or go to Howth Summit instead :D

Well if you want to get to Dalkey really early on Sunday morning you could always get the last Nitelink on Saturday night, at this time of year by the time you got to Dalkey hill it would be getting light!

The 59 is a bit infrequent alright. Every 40 minutes weekdays leaves a long gap if you just miss one. If you miss one at DunLaoghaire it can be quicker to stay on the 7 to Killiney shopping centre and get the 59 in the other direction. Or as victor said walk from there, it is a bit longer but you sound as if you are able for it.

er why can't you get the DART all the way to Dalkey?
It's only about 15 mins walk from the station

EDIT: Never minds, 8 years late
