NT4 - Explorer keeps restarting

    Patched NT4 with hotfixes
    Now explorer just bombs out after a few seconds and restarts automatically.
    Can get into taskmanager , winfile , progman but can't get into explorer or control panel (so can't uninstall hotfixes ) Have applied SP6a again to try to undo hotfixes, have removed all startup stuff - still happens in VGA mode too.
    Boots ok if use a different Shell (Progman) - but control panel still not run.

    Virus or rogue process causing a restart?

    Check whats running beofre it goes and identify each process.

    Also modify your boot if you have admin to just run the needed processes.
