Is it possible to use a wireless router with NTL Broadband? I noticed on their FAQ section that they register the mac address of the modem they use on installation. I ask because my PC is up in the attic and im renting so would rather not have NTL drilling holes in the house.

Shouldn't be a problem. Use their modem, but plug its output into the router, instead of your PC. They'll get their registered MAC, and you'll get a (small) wireless LAN.
