i'm fairly sure these are illegal in Ireland - but i've a "friend" who ordered one from the uk - but accidently ordered 2 - and was considering selling it on boards.

So, illegal.... yes......... my "friend" obviously couldn't sell it on boards it that was the case.

    :ninja: have a look

It's illegal to use FM transmitters without a license ... However it is perfectly legal to sell FM transmitters. That's the law in the UK anyway and I'm pretty sure that it's also the law here.

So yeah go for it, but remember to tell the person who you sell it to that they can't use it in the UK or Ireland

By the way I was only joking here. The law is more of a technacality aimed at pirate radio stations than a law. I wouldn't worry about using it unless your using it in a commercial or public building (ie.. Large office, Library). But I can't see a reason for using it there. The range of these things is quite small (maybe 15 metres indoors and 30-40 outdoors).
