Audio stripping

    Does any one know of any programs that can strip the audio or copy the audio from mpeg or avi to mp3or wav ?or can it even be done

    virtual dub and virtual dub mpg mod will do this easily for u use the save wave optioin in the file menu!!! easy

    Is there a free program or utility which will strip the sound from a DVD? I know of DVD to MP3 Ripper but it is shareware and the evaluation will only strip three minutes of audio.

    dvddecryptor will strip the audio from a dvd, its in the options somewhere its not on this pc but ive dont it a few times in tha past, where i had a music dvd i wanted the audio from, ill output ac3 file for the dvd or u can set to split into the chapters, then use headac3he to convert to wav, 100% free and quality is top
