The SS technology on my lappy doesn't work! I reinstalled WinXP Pro and the speed is still 3.2GHz! it is supposed to go down to 1500 when not on the load! I don't know what is the problem

where/how are you checking the speed? Im not sure that windows updates the cpu speed dynamically
