    I finally know how it feels to be free
    liberated from the cares of society
    Not wanting or needing
    No decisions to be made
    Just free from the pain inflicted by hate

    I don’t feel a tingle
    Desensitized
    I don’t feel a thing
    I’ve turned out the light
    I look through steel curtains
    I see all quite clear
    Those blinded by power
    A race fuelled by fear

    So next time you see me
    Remember the lines
    “don’t take it personally”
    the facts are sublime
    the anger that yells is not fuelled by me
    just a reflection of somebody’s reality..



    ..not looking for a medal, just expressing.
