    Hi guys,

I came across a forum from www.digitalspy.co.uk website and one thread i saw was called "Is this the End of the World"
It was a link to a website about some guy telling us about whats going to happen in the coming few weeks. One thing i did notice was by going through some search engines it does state that the earth is changing etc.
Just want to share this link with you and see what you guys all think about it.

We believe a pre-tribulation rapture event will take place but in order for it to take place, scripture points out that the Anti-Christ will be revealed to the world before this rapture occurs.

Has anyone else noticed G. Dubya looking decidedly more..satanic lately??

It's always "in the next few weeks" or "in the next couple of days" or "THIS YEAR!!!".

Sure wasn't it supposed to be that the 2 twin nuns (or whoever they were) were meant to have passed on a letter to the pope indicating a vision they saw as children which indicated the end of the world. Or it was meant to state 3 omens which would mark the coming of the end.

Aparantly I think part of this was meant to be that 2 have already come true or whatever. I think part of this is that the next pope is meant to be the antichrist and he will mark the coming of the end.

    Mostly nonsense.

Not even mostly Iceman - complete and utter nonsense. There is no God, there is no higher being, there is no such thing as an omen for the future. Stop fooling yourself because all there is is mankind blundering about on a piece of rock wondering what the **** the big plan is when there quite patently is none.

If you lift a glass of water and tip it over what will happen? It will pour out (no it's not ice and no this is not a trick question).

You know this before it happens. But how can you? Because until it actually happens then there's the chances it will or it won't. So don't say nothing can be predicted. It's just that in a lot of cases people can't see the signs that will predict things for them.

As for there being no god.....well I don't necessarily think that the god that organised religion forces upon us is entirely true, but then I believe that there is something keeping things in order. Some might call it god, some might call it the universe or the natural order of things. But I believe there is SOMETHING in control. We have been told that it is a being who has made us in its likeness, because when this thought was first made people couldn't fathom what god could be.

We probably still can't. There's a lot in this universe (and about ourselves) that we can't understand. Won't understand for a while either. Considering most of us still use only a fraction of our brain power, how can we possibly believe ourselves to be intelligent enough to understand everything about this universe we live in?

Though to believe that you know all the answers and that "this doesn't exist - I know because I think it" is the height of stupidity.

"True knowledge comes from knowing that you know nothing" - Understand this, take it in, process it in that mind of yours, then rethink your philosophy on life.

You know the water will spill because all evidence we have (Science) tells us it will. We can predict things through science, yes, I wholeheartedly agree. We cannot, however predict the future through tarot cards, LSD trips, prayer, meditation, religeous nuts or crystal balls.

I believe, that there is no God because all evidence we have tells us so. In a million years (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/106192.stm) mankind has not been given any concrete evidence of a higher being (though some con artists did a damn good job of convincing fools otherwise). Thus in the absence of any proof in support of a theory, we must deem it to be false. Yes, the argument can be made that just because we haven't proved God doesn't exist doesn't mean he doesn't. That can also be leveled against your analogy of a glass of water. Just because the water has spilt in every incident it's been tried in over the last million years, doesn't mean it won't one day just stay in the glass. Just as ludicrous a suggestion as there being an all-powerful sentient being that's keeping things in balance...

If, as you suggest, something is in control, "keeping things in order" as you put it, he/she/it is doing a **** job. There is no order, merely chaos. Yes there are some amazing examples of balance in our ecosystem but that's one of the defining characteristics of an ecosystem.

Look around you. Everything you see is proof that there's something out there creating something, or giving direction to things. This isn't necessarily a conscious BEING (and I don't think you're understanding me on this) but there is something controling things. Be it fate, science (as you perceive it) or just luck, something is causing everything to be.

You say that you can determine that the water will fall due to science. Remember back in the day when science used to be thought to be the work of fools, and infact the work of the devil? Isn't that the same opinion you're portraying in terms of people who say they can predict the future?

OK yeah they're mostly just con artists trying to fool people, and i'm not saying I believe in tarrot cards or crystal balls (far from it), but I do believe that there is or will be a way to predict the future at some point.

I also believe that some people CAN have precognative abilities. I myself have dreamt many things which have come true the next day or within a few days. Now I don't expect anyone to believe this, and I don't care, but I do believe it's possible. I think though that people who close their minds to the possibilities of things that they know nothing about or can't disprove, are just blinding themselves to any chance that they'll ever learn.

You're all way too late, the world ended in 1996!
Everything since then is just a figment of your imagination, including your imagination which is a figment of itself.
    Proof:
    ][cEMAN**:
Everything you see is proof that there's something out there creating something, or giving direction to things.
    Uh-huh ?
Religion is getting vaguer and vaguer since the world ended.

We believe a pre-tribulation rapture event will take place but in order for it to take place, scripture points out that the Anti-Christ will be revealed to the world before this rapture occurs.
I didn't read the text but I've heard enough of this kind of logic before to have some sort of idea of what its ragging on about. Based on the quote above I would like to assure everybody that the world isn't going to go *poof* anytime soon. (or at least not unless people decide thats what they want)
My interpretation of events is where the human race gets to a point (pre tribulation) where it will no longer tolerate injustice, war, hatred. Usually people are more inclined to oppose these factors when it's in their face. An event like 9/11 brought a lot of issues to the surface and more and more people began to reject the sadistic nature of humanity (anti-christ)
there are a lot of changes going on in the world, people have a better idea of what they might consider "the anti christ" (not so much a figure with hooves, but a representation of the pityful nature of hate, born out of fear) and more and more are rejecting it. This might be considered as "the rapture". A change in conciousness on a large scale. Like a human revolution.
But maybe it gets to the point where everybody has to know this fear (hate) before they do anything about changing it. We really do create our own reality.

The arrogance and ignorance of mankind, is self evident in our history of war. Therefore, the probability of total self destruction draws closer by the day.
