    Hi

Just wondered if anyone else here is involved in the Tag league this year? I'm in it for the first time - and our team are doing pretty ok so far.
Was hoping to get some friendly slagging going - without revealing who I'm playing for!!:D

Play tip, but not tag - much more contact (fun!), and much less risk of injury!

I've never heard of as many people getting injured playing full-contact rugby as I have about broken fingers and thumbs from my mates who play tag :)

i play as well in limerick.
we were entered into the wrong division though, we got entered into the A league, although we'd be doing well to finish mid table in the b league, so we're kind of out of our depth.
still great fun though, we just go out there and enjoy ourselves.

Heard of yet another injury from my friends league - a fractured or broken right arm. Damn this game is dangerous - I'm sticking to the full contact.

Yay I'm back on (the site has been blocked at work so I don't get to log on much any more).

Well it's great to hear there's a few folks here involved in the leagues. My team is in the Blackrock Wednesday social league. I haven't been playing since I posted cos I pulled a calf muscle. I was going great guns in me new boots - til there was a ripping sound :( It's not too bad at the moment after some physio so hopefully I'll get to play a couple more games.

You're not wrong about the injuries Trojan - we had more people injured during training sessions and practice matches that we had to cut down on them or we'd have had no-one left! One girl ended up in casualty with a suspected broken knuckle (was only badly sprained) and that was just from running in to some guys chest!
We've been trying to 'run' into him ever since...

There aren't as many hand injuries this year cos of the new shorts they brought out...apparently.
