eircom 3 free months

i have iolbb plus since january is it possible for me to get the 3 month eircom trial aswwell and keep my iol line. so i can use eircom for games and iol for my downloads

I doubt it AFAIK the free trial promotions only apply to a line that has never been activated for Broadband before, now if you have a second line that does not ahve broadband on it you may be able to do this.

Eircom aren't offering 3 months free - they're offering free DSL until August 31st, so even if you signed up today, you'd be lucky to get 2 and a half months free, by the time they switched you on.

While the underlying rebate from eircom wholesale to resellers is for new connections only (lines that have never had DSL before), the eircom retail Terms and Conditions don't actually state that (or they didn't last week).

But even if eircom would take you on, you've signed up for a 12 month contract with IOL, so you'd technically still owe them money.
