Is it just me or are these things multiplying like bunnies in heat?

Every goddamn board these days seems to have 5 or 6 of these type of "Your favourite..", "your top 5.. " threads.. I mean are the readers of boards.ie that short of original thoughts/opinions and ideas?

I'm just waiting for "Your favourite technologies?" or "Your top 5 things for sale" posts to come along to take the biscuit at this stage.
