Can't seem to get a screenshot from mediaplayer

Black looks purple and red is green thats kind of how it's going wrong.

will try get some shot's from winamp and the classic player

EDIT: ok it seems to work fine in media player classic!

    avi and wmv files

i mean what codec, try installing some of the wmp codecs or better still find a better player

I think i'd rather a better player to be honest, can't say i like media player at all!

Would the codec's not be fine if it works in the classic media player?

What's a decent clean looking media player that beats the windows one, that a hard thing!!!

Well it is the wrong forum, its more software so should be in tech.

BSplayer has been recomended by a few of my friends, might try it out.

PS Would also be a good idea to get the codec's for Mplayer like BazH said........ mite aswell have it workin.

I installed new codecs, new player etc but that didn't help.
Unistalled everything and then re-installed programs, codec packs, new graphics drivers and monitor driver everything but i still get strange clors no mather what player i use.
It also happens when i play dvd's as i just found out.

Linux plays video's fine so i wouldn't think it was the graphics card.
Hope someone has any ideas to what it could be
