'Search' query

I'm sure this has been asked before but....(I did do a search but found nothing) Why are you only allowed to search for words which have more than four letters ? For instance, you can't search for the word 'gym' on the fitness board, or 'RAM' on the technology board. I'm sure there lots of other examples where words…
