Is your keyboard USB or PS/2? Do you get an error on screen that a keyboard was not found and/or beeps?

The only time I saw something similar was when someone hadn't installed their motherboard risers in their case and the metal pins from the motherboard were touching the case. Please tell me this is not the case and your motherboard is not touching it?

If it's a USB keyboard, check if it's enabled in the BIOS (If theres such an option present). I had a problem where my keyboard wouldnt do anything, but found that it was disabled in the BIOS!

Can you get a hold of a mate's PS/2 keyboard (not USB) and try that out. You could then go into the BIOS and make sure that USB support is enabled and that might solve your problem.
