some of you might know it. Its a crazy religious website that gives reviews on movies based on if you were a religious nut.

I think I know the specific one you're talking about, is it the one that has a ridiculously complex formula for rating how Godly films are? I can't find it... The ones below are a handful of others I just found while trying.

You're looking for the ever terrifying CAPalert, I think. If ever there was a link between murder and movies, I think CAPalert is it. I want to murder that man.

He whinges on about how evil Kill Bill is, when its clear from his review that he hasn't paid attention to the most basic plot points. Apparently, The Brides maims and kills a number of people in Vol 2, including Budd.

Gee, thats funny, thats not at all how I remember it, and I've seen the damn thing six times...

I imagine it's CAPAlert alright - terrifying stuff. I bet Dubya loves it. Incidentally I saw some pastor had seen Kill Bill - Volume 2 and he actually found some interesting elements to it, particularly at the end where
He saw Beatrix's sobbing on the floor and her "Thank you" as a thanks to God, which he approved of.
I'd love to see what CAPAlert thinks of the movies in our most disturbing movies thread - probably give them heart attacks :D

Kill Bill 2, as far as I'm concerned is a rather touching dedication to various forms of love and its redemptive powers. CAPalert reckons its an affront to ethics, though not so much as the first. How does the man ever enjoy a film? He doesn't seem to understand that some form of conflict is vital to a story. Whats wrong with him?

Continuing the Kill Bill example, some of the things he criticises it for...

*"long fight for life sequence "

    *"youthful disrespect at pastor

    *"Massive Tattoos" (!)

*"abuse of child by telling her bad stories " (?) Like what?

*"below navel skin, threatening exposure of that which follows, repeatedly" What?!?! When??? What film was this man watching?

    *"four uses of "fool" "

    And my personal favourite...

    *"self-touching "

Which I can only imagine refers to...I dunno, when a character accidently rests their hands on their own knee? When they walk and one leg brushes off the other? What is this man on?

It leaves me in a cold sweat. In a bad way.

Probably Bill telling BB about how he shot Beatrix. Or maybe it was Beatrix watching Shogun Assassin with her... Not exactly a film i'd show a child that young...
