Estimated ticket price for Morrisey?

    I have never bought tickets from touts, and it pains me to consider doing so. I'd like to get a rough idea of the cost. So can anyone give me a reasonably accurate guess as to much the touts will be asking for a 40 eur face Morrisey ticket on the night? Any recommendations on how to get 2 as cheaply as possible?

    You're talking at least twice the price OR you could be paying under face value. It really depends on the night. If I were you i'd budget 100 a ticket though.

    I was quite surprised that the gig sold out so quickly. I've seen Morrissey twice in recent years (olympia and ambassador) and there wasn't nearly the amount of interest then there is this time around.

    Granted he has a new album out, but the tickets were sold out a good bit before he began promoting it and appearing on the front of magazines etc...

    without question the hype about Morrissey this time around is unreal, i never expected them to sell out as quickly either. All that considered the new album is very very good so its probably justified.

    I have never bought from a tout, i'm guessing 70 or 80 at the very least. I think your best bet is to try to contact a seller on buyandsell and try to bargain with them because you won't be able to bargain with a tout outside the venue, he'll have you where he wants you.

    See if you can hold out until about 8 or 8:30 - its chancey, i know, but the closer it gets to stage time, the more the scalpers want to get out of there, and (sometimes) the cheaper the tickets get. Moz is going on at 9 ish.
