were about 10/15 people onboard a tram passing Dunville Avenue on Sandyford line yesterday evening, is this part of some public relations exercise or did some local F.F. councillors miss the 46A to town?:D

I have heard that Luas personnel have been inviting guests onboard for a jaunt before the opening.

Im such a nerd for knowing this, but they have to run the trams with people on them before they get their safety certification. You will see them with more and more people on board in the next week or so. And if you really want to be geeky, check out all the new DART trains parked down at Pearse Station. They are full of big blue water barrels to simulate the weight of passengers for testing.

    Yours nerdily,

    Pete

So, how would someone go about getting invited on board for one of these test runs?

Find someone who works there! Try writing to them!
