Loads of cardboard & wood!

Hello! So I've just about moved into my new house and as a result, I have at least 5 wheelie-bins of cardboard left over from all my furniture and appliances etc., which is a bummer since I don't even have a green bin yet. Is there anywhere I can take it all to get recycled? I'm in the Fingal area, I've emailed them and I'm awaiting a response but you guys are probably more useful.

I've also got a lot of wood left over from the floor, is it possible to recycle this in any way, since I don't have any use for it myself? A neighbour of mine told me he paid the security guard on the site to take away his waste, but I suspect it will end up in a skip somewhere, if not on the side of the road so I don't want to go that route.

Finally, polystyrene...what can I do with that?

Cool, thanks, I'll give them a shout tomorrow. Looks like the polystyrene is gonna have to go in the bin.

I reused the polywhatits by breaking into little cubes and using at the bottom of plant containers/hanging baskets/pots in place of the broken terracotta pots that everyone is suppose to have lying around
