Is there anywhere in Ireland (preferably Lenster) where I could try kite/mountain boarding? I reckon its something I could get into but want to try it out before investing in some kit. Answers on a postcard ...

There are a couple of different kinds of kite/boarding
kitesurfing
kitebugging
kiteboarding (can be done in the mountains)

You can take lessons on these sports, that way you can try out the kit

I think the guys at www.surfdock.ie offer kitesurfing lessons, not too sure.
